Danielle Allen
Winter Cheerleading Advisor
715-896-6911
Dear student athlete and Parent/Guardian,
I am Danielle Allen, the new Cheer advisor for the Winter season. I look forward to meeting all of you and your families. This contract covers our purpose as a team, consequences for specific actions, safety regulations/practice rules and transportation. It is my goal to promote great communication between parents/guardians, student athletes and myself. I have set up a blog for the team for everyone to access for updates on practice and game schedules as well as other information regarding the squad and upcoming events. If you should have any questions, please contact me through email, phone or the blog.
You can access the blog at: www.pchscheerleading.blogspot.com
Purpose:
Cheerleaders serve as a support group for the athletic program in which they represent. Each cheer team should strive to boost school spirit, promote good sportsmanship, develop positive crowd involvement and help student participants and spectators achieve the educational objectives of the athletic program.
Cheerleading should focus on leading or directing the cheering of student and adult fans. In this role, cheerleaders are positive, effective student leaders. Their activities should be focused on: creating a cooperative spirit among the cheer teams, athletes, student bodies, school administrators and the community; recognizing outstanding plays and examples of good sportsmanship on the part of competing teams; and aiding the school and game officials in the promotion of good sportsmanship during and outside of the athletic contest.
