1st Basketball home game!

1st Hockey home game!

The first home boys' hockey game went well for the cheerleaders.
We sold 3 Dragon seat cushions.

Wed. Dec 7th practice discussions:

1.) There are still some girls that need to either pay their athletic fee ($25) or hand in their eligibility forms to the office so that they are able to cheer at the Hockey game tonight, or the Basketball game on Friday.

2.) Warm-ups: I received an update from the business office yesterday informing me that the order from before Thanksgiving break did not go through and we had to re-order through the company. I'm hoping they will be in by next week.
Basketball girls all have skirts and shells for the games and the Hockey girls have arranged to wear away jerseys at the games until the warm-ups are in.

3.) Mady DeLozier is organizing a group of cheerleaders to be referees at the fundraiser dodge ball tournament on Thursday Dec 15th at the High School gym. Canned goods will be collected along with cash donations for the local food shelf. If any girls are interested, please seek out Mady and sign up with her.

4.) Practice that was scheduled for Dec. 27th has been cancelled due to the Holidays.

5.) Basketball potluck is tonight in the 7th grade commons at 6pm. Everyone is welcome to join!

6.) 1st Varsity Boys' Hockey game is tonight in the arena at 7pm! We hope to have families there to support the girls and the team! The girls will be wearing Dragon wear or jerseys during the day today to represent the cheerleaders and Hockey team.

7.) 1st Varsity Boys' Basketball game is on Friday in the High School gym at 7:30pm.

8.) We will be selling Dragon seat cushions at both the Hockey and Basketball games for $10.
Proceeds go to the Dragon Cheerleaders and the senior class of 2012. (GET YOURS AT THE GAME!)

9.) All basketball cheerleaders are to wear their uniforms along with white tennis shoes on Friday at the game, Dragon wear will be worn during the day to represent the cheerleaders and the Basketball team.

Potluck!

Basketball potluck on Thursday, December 8th at 6 pm in the High School 7th grade commons.
All cheerleaders and their families are welcome to come. (Basketball and hockey)

The first hockey home game will start at 7pm at the Pine City Civic Center.

If anyone is able to bring a hot dish, please do so as there will be many families attending!

Uniforms

If warm-ups are not in by this Thursday, hockey cheerleaders should wear black pants with a white, green or black sweatshirt. I will look into getting away hockey jerseys from the team to wear over the sweatshirts.

Fundraiser!

We will be selling Dragon seat cushions at the hockey and basketball games for $10 each.
Get yours quick! They will be gone soon.  Proceeds will go to Pine City High School cheerleaders and Senior class of 2012.

Hockey Cheerleaders:

Below is the schedule for open skate nights at the Pine City Civic Center. Cost is $3 for entrance per person, each cheerleader will be responsible for paying for themselves. If anyone is interested in scheduling times for the group to go together, please check with me and we will coordinate dates and times.
If you would like to go individually that is up to you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

As we look forward to our four day Holiday vacation, I will be asking the girls to review the cheer dvd that will be provided to whomever requests one from me today at practice. I will also ask them to take some extra time to be creative and come up with one new cheer, they can do this as a group or individually. I look forward to seeing what they create! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, see you on Monday's practice at 3!
